As we grow older, we begin to understand the value of a dollar and we learn to really think about how we spend our hard earned money. When we visit the store, it is so tempting to buy that cool little toy that costs $1.25 and that yummy piece of candy for $1.67. Well before you know it, you’ve spent all your $10.00. This last week we learned how our money can grow if we simply save it! In this weeks BLOG, please include why you think it is important to save your money, what happens to your money when you put it in the bank, and list a few items that you think are important to save up for...such as a gift for your sibling, college, a charity donation, a special book, a cool art project, a challenging Lego set, a puzzle, a Wild Animal Park Entrance ticket to name a few. To save money you don't spend. Like if you had 5.00 but you want a toy thats 10.00 you need to save your money. Like I have a bank account if you keep it in the bank they give you like 1 cent or 5 cents or 10 cents it depends how much money you have. Also you can do chores and earn money and what do you know you have enough of money to for the toy. Thats why you should save your money. So you should save up to buy a car or a house or collage something like that. I am saving for a long term purchase which is a phone.

I love saving money! It's important to save money because you can get something you want more. I'm saving for college. College is expensive so it is going to take a lot of time and money. I save college money in my piggy back and put my spending money in my wallet then take my money to the bank. Right now I am saving up for a Lego Friends Kit which can be a long term or short term purchase. I can't wait till my money grows or I can't wait to get more money! Money is fun!

I love saving money in my bank account. I love it because if you keep your money in the bank, they’ll give you money for keeping your money there. I want to keep my money in my bank account because; I want to save up for a Lego Titanic which cost over $100. I guess that makes my saving long term. When I have money at home, I keep it in my wallet, in my room.

This is how I save my money. First, I get money by doing chores, for my birthday and from the tooth fairy and Christmas. I save my money in the bank. If I find money I can keep it and if I find money that I know does not belong to me and know who it belongs to I give it back. I am saving long term to buy a TV, a Sienna minivan and money for college. Saving money is really important.

ReplyDeleteI save money every day. I save money from the change my mom gets at stores I put it in my piggy bank . I want to save to buy many games for my wii and my ps3. I save my money and don't spend it on things I don't need because it's important to save. When my piggy bank is full I count all my money and take it to the bank. Last time I saved 50 dollars and bought a batman game it was really cool.
It is important to save money for important things like college, food, clothes and houses. I save money by not spending all of my on candy or things I really want like something that looks cool, but may not be cool at all. I want to save money for something that is really expensive like my remote control helicopter.

ReplyDeleteI think that money is important to save because if you save it you will get a bigger toy or anything else that is big. Another reson too why I think it is important to save money is you can not waste all your money. It is great to look at money. My favorit part about saving money is you can get bigger and bigger things. What is your favorit part? This is what happeds to your money when you put it in the bank. They use your money and give it back. And if you keep it in there they will give you more money. I want to give my brother an exbox 360. I want an ipad. I am saving for a long term perchas. I store my money in the bank.
It is definitely important to save your money! Why... well for example, if you have $10.00 and the toy you want is $15.00 well simply save that money and figure out a way to get more money. But, don't use the old way, which is ask money from your parents! You have to earn it. Like I'm going to start getting money because I'm going to do chores around the house. What happens when you put money in the bank... they save the money for you. So when you want the money back, you can have it back. I'm saving for a ranch which is very expensive! My Uncle Rob has a ranch. I just think that saving money is fantastic!

I like the book Record Breaking Cars because it has cool pictures and it tells you very interesting facts. My favorite type of books are informational books because they tell me more facts and information. I recommend Record Breaking Cars because it has such cool pictures and facts.
