Healthy Choices!



Having a balanced diet is the key to a healthy body! As we have learned, eating healthy takes a lot of self-discipline and self-control. Once you know which foods belong in the different food groups, then you will be able to balance your own diet. Do you know the different food groups? What types of foods are in each food group? Why is it important to your body to have a balanced diet? Please let me know what your own personal diet looks like for a day. Doctors say that exercise and drinking 8 glasses of water a day is a very important part of having a healthy body. Why do you think exercising is important? I hope you have gained a deeper understanding as to why it is important to eat healthy foods every day and to stay away from junk foods that contain a lot of sugar, saturated fat, and toxic chemicals. Grow HEALTHY and STRONG!!! Only you can ultimately decide what goes into your body! Make HEALTHY CHOICES!!!

    My mother gives me a helthy diat. She tells me that whenever I am hungry I am sposto have fruit. When it is time for dinner you should ask your parants to cook meat, dairy, fruit, wheat, and before you cook eat dinner do your favorit gymnastics move. I do handstands, handstands into brig kick over, land like a frog and more. There are extras and those extras are doghnuts, ice crème, cookies, ice crème sandwiches, popcicles, and there is a popsicle that is actualy good for you kinda. It is called a fruit pop. My favorit helthy food is fruit. What is yours? My favorit fruit are strawberrys. I can’t wait to hear your favorit.

    You should have a balanced diet every day. To have a balanced diet you should have a lot of every food group but only a little bit of sugar. This is an example of a balanced diet you should have at lest 8 servings of water and 6 servings of grains 3 servings of vegetables 2 servings of fruit 3 servings of dairy and 2 servings of meat. You should do at lest 1 hour of exercise each day. If I made a meal I would make oatmeal in the grains I would make for vegetables its corn for fruit I would make apples dairy would be cheese meat would be egg. Living the food pyramid is very important.

    Some of the things that every balanced diet must include are:
    -lots of water
    -milk
    -vegetables
    -fruit
    -meats
    -fish
    -cheese
    and don't forget exercising.

  4. Hi, my name is Jonathan and you should eat from the food pyramid. You should eat fresh vegetables, eat dairy, drink water, eat meat and whole grains. My favorite things on the food pyramid are pasta and broccoli and alfredo sauce. It is important to exersise. BE HELTHY!

    Eating Healthy

    This is how I stay healthy. Everyday I try to eat healthy out of every food group on the food pyramid, grains, dairy, fruits and vegetables and meats. For breakfast I have a smoothie with bananas and peanut butter. For lunch I have a sandwich with grapes and carrots. For dinner I love to have Chinese chicken salad and soup. This is how I exercise to stay healthy. I play soccer and run a lot! I like to do gymnastics and ride my bike and also jump on my trampoline and go rollerblading. I love exercising and keeping my body healthy.

  6. My balanced diet includs cereal banana milk. For lunch a nutela sandwich granola pear ,water .for diner I had chicken tostada and rice beans and apples juice. I played outside with my brother.

    I enjoy to eat good food because I want to grow up and be strong. My mom owns a Italian restaurant. We serve organic tomatoes. My favorite fruit is Strawberries. I really love to drink milk with my meals. I also love Salmon. There is many vitamins in fish.

    I like pasta and strawberries. They are good for you. A balanced diet has fruit and vegetables, meat and beans, grains, and milk. And has Vitamin C and Vitamin D and Vitamin A. Fish and bananas are good for you. I run up the stairs and run around the track at school.
